Turbo tails and other fiberglass rear spoilers are heavier than the shock deck lid and are often the cause od a drooping rear deck lid. We have two solutions - both are easy to install at home and cure self-closing rear decklids. For 1976-89 911 and 930 that came from the factorywith the tail held up by two hood shocks, use a pair of our lifetime guaranteed Weltmeister hood shocks.

For 911's that have been enhance with the addition of a Turbo or other tail, we have our Dual Shock Kit. After testing various combinations of shocks with different weight tails, we've combined two original equipment shocks along with all the mounting hardware for a quick and easy installation. This is a bolt-on kit.
