The Venturies are the small opening in the top of the carburetor that delivers the vacuum signal to the main air jets for the carburetor to work. Replacing the Venturies in the carburetor will give your Porsche an excellent throttle response along with a smooth idle. Venturies sizes are determined by engine displacement, camshaft profile and the operating range of the engine.
Below is a recommendation chart. Variations are made for different operating conditions, engine configurations and gear ratios.
