Drilled are proven superior to grooves in allowing hot brake pad gases to escape for improved air-flow and keep your brakes cooler. Drilled rotors are also superior when you encounter wet road or track conditions. Zimmermann drilled rotors feature holes precision machines, relieved and radiused to eliminate stresses and avoid the cracking problem seen in some drilled or grooved rotors.
